Kick off Memorial Day weekend in the heart of Oregon Wine Country—McMinnville! Join us on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at The Bindery Event Space in Downtown McMinnville for a day filled with culinary delights, exceptional wines, and the warmth of a vibrant community.
Indulge in thoughtfully crafted food and wine pairings, showcasing the extraordinary talents of the region’s finest local chefs and winemakers. Celebrate the season with every bite and sip, and immerse yourself in the unique charm of McMinnville’s wine country.
Food & Wine Pairing Seminar • 10 - 11:30 AM • $65, includes entry to Walkabout Tasting
Start your day with an immersive seminar delving into the art of pairing food and wine. Discover how flavors can complement and elevate one another in surprising and delightful ways. Led by renowned winemakers and chefs (to be announced), this exclusive tasting experience is limited in size, providing an intimate opportunity to explore the science and creativity behind perfect pairings. In this engaging class, you'll learn the foundational techniques sommeliers use to craft exceptional matches, from understanding basic pairing principles to experiencing firsthand how different wine styles interact with key flavor components. Through hands-on tastings and expert guidance, you’ll unlock the secrets to creating unforgettable culinary harmony. This is an add-on ticket to the main Walkabout Tasting. The seminar begins at 10 AM, followed by the Walkabout Tasting at 12 PM.
Walkabout Food & Wine Tasting • 12 - 3 PM • $45
After the seminar, enjoy a lively walkabout tasting featuring wines and dishes inspired by the Flavors of the Foothills Passport. Sip and savor as local wineries and chefs showcase the best of the region in a relaxed, interactive setting.
